Grinnell Guard Jack Taylor goes for 138

Grinnell Sophomore Guard Jack Taylor had a outerbody experience on Tuesday night. He got into a zone that most of us would kill to ever experience. Taylor scored an NCAA record 138 points in one game of 52 of 108 from the field, 27 of 71 from 3 point land and 7 of 10 from the charity stripe.

Taylor plays D-III ball but you can’t discount a person scoring over 100 points even in rec league ball.

Much props to Taylor for shooting his arm within a 40 minute game. My question is to the Faith Baptist Bible coach did he face guard him? why not box and two that kid? How did you let a kid hit over 100 with only 10 free throws? Why didn’t you Ed Reed him? I mean I’m not saying hurt the kid but who the hell wants to get 100 plus hung on em in one bball game? Did anybody guarding him foul out?  I know I wasn’t blessed to be a great athlete but I’d rather take the Artest route then get 138 hung on me. It’s funny but I’m serious lol.

Congrats to Mr. Taylor he is now a living legend. Nobody will ever forget this moment if you like it or  not. I bet cats will be checking for Grinnell games until Taylor graduates.

Check out some of the highlights of his night.
