What’s up everybody? This is the last important week before the bowl games start up. Right now we know the Irish are a lock for the National Title game but their opponent will come down to Bama and Georgia. That will be the game everybody who loves college ball will be keying on this weekend. There are a few other games that will be important to bowl placement.
Check out a few games we will be watching this weekend.
Friday 11/30
#16 UCLA @ #8 Stanford, FOX, 8 Pm– This a rematch from last week, but this time it’s for a trip to the Rose Bowl. Last weeks game was on the Bruins field this week it will be played on the Cardinal home turf. Stanford won last week 35-17, I really don’t expect much to change this weekend.
Saturday 12/1
#2 Alabama vs #3 Georgia, CBS, 4 Pm– This is the game everybody and their momma will be watching. This SEC Championship game is for the right to the National Title game. Pretty much the winner of this game will play the Irish for all of the marbles. Both teams have great defenses. I think both teams have solid QB play with the Bulldogs having the edge with Murray over A.J.. Shockingly these two haven’t met already this year I think the Bulldogs shock Bama in go to the ship.
#13 Florida St vs Georgia Tech, ESPN, 8 Pm– If Florida St can control the option they will waltz into a BCS Bowl to represent the ACC. I don’t think this game will be much of a contest but that’s why they play. So, I would watch this game for shock value.
#12 Nebraska vs Wisconsin, FOX, 8:17 Pm– The 2nd Big Ten Championship game will feature two teams who run the ball with great pride. Nebraska won the first matchup this season 30-27 will the Badgers be able to upset them when it counts the most in get that Rose Bowl appearance? Ball vs Martinez who wins??
