What’s up everyone? College Football games of the Week are back, not much has changed we know who are the top dogs of College Football at the start of the season but will they be at that spot at the end? Shoutout to the Buckeyes they are eligible to play in bowl season. Will Manziel make it through the whole season? Will Clowney challenge for the Heisman? Who will be the surprise player this year?
Let me get back on topic these are a few games you should check out this weekend if you have the free time.
Thursday 8/29
North Carolina @ South Carolina, ESPN, 6 PM- I’m not going to lie the only reason I care about this game is I want to see JaDeveon Clowney play, I think the Gamecocks should win just because of their defense but who knows when it’s the first game of the season.
Saturday 8/31
Purdue @ Cincinnati, ESPNU, Noon– This game should be a solid battle, Purdue isn’t a great team but seems to be on the rise, while the Bearcats with new HC Tommy Tuberville look to make some noise in the newly established American Athletic Conference.
Alabama vs Virginia Tech, ESPN, 5:30 PM- Bama coming off of winning the National Title will look to establish dominance off the rip versus VTech. Tech still has Logan Thomas who is looking to improve on a disappointing Junior season. I think Bama should win but Thomas has the capability to give Bama fans a scare.
Georgia @ Clemson, ABC, 8 PM- This matchup will be highlighted by two stud QB’s, Clemson has Tajh Boyd and Georgia has Aaron Murray. Both teams are primed to have a good season. I personally this will be the best game of the weekend. Honestly I think this game will be a shootout and a tossup if you are at 8 Saturday find ABC.
LSU vs TCU, ESPN, 9PM- This game is a tossup I don’t know how good LSU and TCU will be this year but traditionally they are normally very competitive. I bank on this game being interesting to say the least.
Let us know what games you will be watching this weekend and how you feel about the games we picked.
Until next week, PEACE!!!
