College Football is back y’all and I’m happy because my Cincinnati Reds have been playing like capital “SHIT” this summer. We all have seen the preseason rankings and at the end of the days 80% of them will be wrong.
I’m excited for the season and here are a few games you should watch this weekend starting Thursday.
Thursday 8/28
#21 Texas A&M @ #9 South Carolina, SEC Network, 6 PM-
Both teams will be replacing first round draft picks, it will be an early SEC test for both, but if A&M didn’t fix that horrid defense I don’t care if they smuggle Johnny Football and Mike Evans back in uniforms they don’t have much hope.
Saturday 8/30
#5 OSU @ Navy, CBS Sports Network, Noon- Three words “No Braxton Miller”, Navy runs the triple option, but the Buckeyes shouldn’t struggle on defense. We get to see if J.T. Barrett is ready for the bright lights.
West Virginia vs #2 Alabama, ABC, 3:30 PM- “Bama lost A.J. McCarron so this starts life after “AM”. Will “Bama roll West Virginia?
#16 Clemson @ #12 Georgia, ESPN, 5:30 PM- Both teams are replacing star quarterbacks (Tahj Boyd and Aaron Murray) so who knows how both teams will look. These teams normally play a very good game every year. Also, no Sammy Watkins, who will step up?
#1 FSU vs Oklahoma St, ABC, 8 PM- Will Famous Jameis “Crablegs” Winston continue where last season finished off? Ok. State probably doesn’t have the answers Sway!
#14 Wisconsin vs #13 LSU, ESPN, 9 PM-
This game is classic Big Ten vs SEC. As a midwest guy I’ll root for the Big Ten team. Wisconsin is known for big o-line’s and good running backs. LSU is known for having good defenses and playmakers on offense. Who will win on a neutral field?
Monday 9/1
Miami (FL) @ Louisville, ESPN, 8 PM- Hey, it’s College Football’s day for Monday night so check this game out.
Let us know which games you will be watching. Until next week, PEACE!
