Quarterback Jalen Hurts is transferring from Alabama to Oklahoma. He has graduated so he won’t have to sit out and is available for the 2019 season. After losing Kyler Murray to either the NFL or MLB this is a nice replacement.
Hurts lost his spot to Tua Tagovailoa after the 2018 Championship game. Hurts helped Alabama in a come from behind win in the SEC Championship Game when Tagovailoa injured his ankle during the game.
Last season Hurts played in 13 games throwing for 765 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions on 72.9% completion. He also rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
