At welterweight Errol Spence, Jr. is the king of a division that is very talented from top to bottom, but their aren’t many people who can threaten the 29 year old champion. After dominating Mikey Garcia in the middle of March the question rises who should he fight next? He called out Manny Pacquiao after the fight and during the call out “Pac Man” acted like he would love the fight, but honestly he doesn’t want that smoke. For Spence, Jr. it would be the best fight monetarily, but he dominate the 40 year old Pacquiao at this stage in his career.
Pac Man would be better off fighting Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman, but both of those fights would be dangerous because they are both active fighters, not like Adrien Broner who he beat early in 2019. It seems that Pacquiao is leaning towards Thurman which still won’t be a good move, but who does Spence, Jr. fight next?
Everybody wants to see him fight Terence “Bud” Crawford, I believe the fight will happen, but the build up will keep growing over a few fights because they are with different promoters. I’m going to give you a list of his next three opponents with a couple of wildcards as a bonus.
