J.T.’s defensive game balls for escape win versus ECU

The Bearcats escaped in Greenville, North Carolina on Saturday and it wasn’t the defense’s best showing. They have been dominate all season, but ECU had their number gaining 638 yards with 535 yards coming in the air. They allowed C.J. Johnson to gain an NCAA season high 283 yards. Which is something we didn’t expect to happen on Saturday.

They only caused one turnover and had zero sacks. ECU went 10-of-17 on third down and went 7-of-7 in the red zone scoring four touchdowns in those opportunities. It wasn’t a normal showing for this unit, but they did make a few big plays.

Let’s see who received game balls for Saturday’s game!
