J.T.’s defensive game balls from No. 2 Cincinnati’s 31-12 win versus Tulane

In yesterday’s 31-12 win versus Tulane, Cincinnati’s defense didn’t have its best performance. The first half was rough as they allowed 201 total yards with 156 of them being on the ground. In the second half they played a lot better, but as a whole it was a lot more missed tackles than I’ve seen with this unit as I’ve seen in a long time. Teams are playing a lot slower the last two weeks against this unit because they are outmatched and they are going for it on fourth and short distances no matter what side of the field they are on as well. Tulane only finished with 280 total yards, but they went for it four times only converting two.

Cincinnati had four sacks, 7.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Check out who received game balls for the Bearcats win.
