This past weekend the No. 2 Cincinnati Bearcats faced off against the Tulane Green Wave. The Bearcats defeated the Green Wave in a 31-12 win. The Bearcats are continued to be ranked #2 in the AP and Coaches Poll. The Bearcats continue to win despite how pretty or ugly the game turns out. This past week the defense, offense and special teams showed significant effort and resolve on the road.
Takeaways the Bearcats had four takeaways during 60 minutes against Tulane. Safety Ja’von Hicks had an interception in the first half, that gave the Bearcats great offensive position. Cornerback Coby Bryant had an interception in the second half. Linebacker Joel Dublanko forced a fumble deep in Tulane territory and defensive end Malik Vann did the same.
Cincinnati had a turnover as well with a Desmond Ridder interception, but Cincinnati won the back 4-1, which is why this was a key stat of Saturday’s game.
