Can the Bearcats contain the elusive Alabama offense?

We are just under 24 hours until the Bearcats are set to take on Alabama in arguably the biggest game in program history, as the Bearcats are making their first College Football Playoff appearance, as they became the first group of five team to ever make the playoffs. Could the Bearcats dominant defense hold on to create some trouble for the high-powered Crimson Tide offense as they look to dethrone the reigning champions?

A lot of talk coming into this game was the elusiveness of the Crimson Tide’s offense and the likes of Jameson Williams, Brian Robinson and Bryce Young. Young, coming off a miraculous season where he not only dominated college football, but he also brought some hardware back home to Tuscaloosa, when he brought the Heisman Trophy back to campus earlier this month. Young has found his weapon on the outside in Jameson Williams, a transfer from Ohio State, who has arguably been the best wide receiver in all of college football this season, has recorded 68 catches, tallying 1,445 yards, 15 touchdowns, averaging 21.3 yards per catch.

Williams brings a lot to the table for the Crimson Tide offense, and will most certainly be Bryce Young’s go to receiver in tomorrow’s, Playoff Semifinal, as the Crimson Tide is without second leading receiver John Metchie who tore his ACL during the Crimson Tides 41-24 victory over the then No. 1 ranked Georgia in the SEC Championship.
