Bearcats Football, Fanatics Partner on Jersey Sales

Per GoBearcats:

Cincinnati football fans can now purchase the jerseys of their favorite current players, and these student-athletes will be able to monetize their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) through Fanatics’ NIL jersey program.

Replica black, officially-licensed UC jerseys, complete with the Under Armor logo, are available atcpaw.me/jerseys.

“We are thrilled to work with Fanatics to give this opportunity to our fans and our student-athletes,” said John Cunningham, Director of Athletics at Cincinnati. “This partnership makes perfect sense for our brand and our fanbase. We look forward to seeing Nippert Stadium filled with jerseys featuring our current players. We continue to embrace NIL and will look to further develop initiatives that will benefit our student-athletes and fans.”

The Bearcats are one of select group of schools participating in the launch of Fanatics’ groundbreaking NIL jersey program.

All current student-athletes, who have agreed to participate, are eligible to have jerseys made and will take a percentage of revenue from each jersey sale.

Cincinnati student-athletes signed more than 200 NIL deals in Year 1 of IMPACT, UC’s comprehensive NIL development program.

The Bearcats have taken further steps in embracing NIL in Year 2 of IMPACT.

The Bearcats partnered with Altius Sports Partners and INFLCR to optimize NIL and brand marketing for student-athletes through a forthcoming on-campus General Manager position and the Bearcats Exchange marketplace to help businesses and athletes complete deals.
