Bearcats make Taft HS (OH) 3 star DL Drayden Pavey’s Top 8

On Monday, Taft High School (Cincinnati, Ohio) three star defensive lineman Drayden Pavey released his Top 8. The member of the 2025 class is a highly touted recruit from the local area. The 6’3″, 305 pound defensive lineman cut his list down to: Miami of Ohio, Toledo, Boston College, Pitt, Indiana, Purdue, West Virginia and Cincinnati. Per 247 Sports he is ranked the 65th defensive lineman in the nation and 38th ranked player in the state of Ohio.

TFON was able to catch up with Pavey to get his thoughts on the hometown Bearcats:

“Coach (defensive line, Walt) Stewart is the reason why UC made my Top 8. We have had a great relationship through out this process. UC will always be there.”

That quote is very encouraging for Cincinnati fans that want to know how serious Pavey is taking the local program.
