NM- First off congratulations on your offer to The University Of Cincinnati!
GS- Thank You!
NM- Awesome, first off what position are you being recruited for?
GS- I’m being recruited as a combo kicker/punter,
NM-Awesome, which coaches have you been in contact with from the University Of Cincinnati?
GS- I have only been in contact with coach Brian Mason.
NM- Awesome, have you been able to visit campus before covid? I know right now it’s making it really hard to take visits.
GS- I have not been able to visit campus ever but I look forward to being able to hopefully.
NM- Hopefully you can get to visit soon hopefully. What have you been doing this offseason to stay in shape and work on your game?
GS- Well, I traveled to various camps competing against some of the best in the country in kicking, constantly when I get the chance. Nothing, but practicing, lifting and going to camps!
NM- Good to hear that you still had the opportunity to go to some camps this summer. What are coaches expecting to see out of you as a player? What kind of guy are they expecting on and off the field?
GS- A guy who has the potential to come in after the starters currently and compete for a starting spot.
NM- What are some of your goals for your upcoming senior year?
GS- My goal is to make every kick count and do everything I can for my teams success.
NM- What are some ways you’re staying in shape right now due to the pandemic?
GS- I go on runs, I have cut down on what I eat on the fast food side and plus lots of core workouts.
NM- What’s one thing you are looking forward to accomplishing this season with your team whether it’s on or off the field?
GS- Our team is trying to prove our conference wrong this year as we were voted to be the worst team in our league so we want to prove them all wrong. Off the field we want to continue having a season so taking all the right necessities to make that happen!
NM- What message would you want to tell people for your upcoming season to make sure you guys get the season you deserve?
GS- Help those who are fortunate to have a season right now by wearing a mask and remember to social distance! WE WANT TO PLAY!
