Senior defensive tackle Cortez Broughton already got a defensive game ball from me for his performance against Miami of Ohio. Now, he is being honored by the American Athletic Conference for his dominate performance on Saturday night.
The senior had five tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass breakup Saturday evening. He helped his Bearcats push their record to 2-0 after beating Miami of Ohio 21-0 at Paul Brown Stadium.
Broughton is having a nice start to his senior campaign, congrats!
