Week 9: at ECU
Score Prediction: UC 42 ECU 7
Last season UC beat ECU 56-6 at home and I think UC have the capability to do similar again this season. I also think with UC coming off their bye week they will be ready to go for this game.
Week 10: vs. UCONN
Score Prediction: UC 42 UCONN 7
UC is 7-1 against UCONN and this will be the last time the two teams play each other in AAC conference play. This is UC’s Homecoming game and you can count on Nippert being a difficult playing environment. Last year, UC beat UCONN 49-7 and just like the ECU game, I think UC is capable of doing that again. Hopefully this year’s Homecoming is a repeat of last year’s win against Tulane.
Week 11: at USF
Score Prediction: UC 31 USF 17
In the last 10 matchups they’ve split the series 5-5 and last year UC won 35-23. This year’s game will be different in that they are playing down in Florida, but I think the outcome will still be the same.
Week 12: vs. Temple
Score Prediction: UC 30 Temple 21
This is the final home game of the season and the Bearcats will be looking for revenge after last year’s 24-17 OT loss at Temple. That was the first of only two losses last year. The seniors will be looking to avenge last year’s loss and wanting to end their final home game on a positive note.
