Bearcats LB RJ Potts entering transfer portal

Redshirt sophomore linebacker RJ Potts stated via Twitter he is entering the transfer portal. Potts was a member of the 2017 class which was the first one under Luke Fickell and crew. He was a top safety in the Midwest according to all scouting sites when he committed to UC. He’s a Fishers, Indiana native.

Potts played in nine games during his time in Cincinnati mainly as a part of the special teams unit. He amassed 18 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss during his time.

He will have at least two years of eligibility left when he picks a new program. Good luck to RJ, we hope he lands somewhere that will allow him to flourish!
