For the second week in a row Cincinnati Bearcats senior guard Jarron Cumberland was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
He had 22 points and six assists in a road win against Temple in their only game last week.

University of Cincinnati senior Jarron Cumberland (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington HS) was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the second consecutive week on Monday.
Cumberland scored a team-high 22 points with a game-high six assists while shooting 13 of 14 from the free throw line in an 89-82 win at Temple on Wednesday. He scored 21 of his 22 points in the second half and accounted for 14 of UC’s 16 points in the final two minutes of the game, including 10-of-10 shooting from the foul line.
The scoring outburst at Temple marked Cumberland’s 24th career game with 20 or more points and vaulted the senior into 10th place on Cincinnati’s all-time scoring list with 1,603 career points.
Since the start of AAC play, Cumberland is averaging 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists while shooting 45.8 percent (33 of 72) from the field and 40 percent (12 of 30) from 3-point range. Entering this week, Cumberland ranks among league leaders in six categories during league play: assists (second at 5.9), assist-to-turnover ratio (fourth at 1.8), scoring (seventh at 15.3), 3-point field goal percentage (tied for eighth at .400), minutes played (11th at 32.6) and 3-pointers made (tied for 11th at 1.7).
