It was reported by Chad Brendel of Bearcat Journal a few days ago that Perry Eliano was the front runner to replace cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens who recently left to do the same thing at Notre Dame. With Eliano’s changing his twitter profile picture it seems he’s the new cornerbacks coach for Cincinnati.

Eliano was most recently the cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator for New Mexico. After losing Mickens, Eliano is a nice get this late in the process.
