JT: How was Cincinnati able to make your Top 12?
BB: The thing that really draws me towards UC is the Coaching staff. Coach Fickell and Coach Freeman are great coaches and great people who really care about you. Another thing is how family oriented the team is. I know a lot of people who have committed to UC. I always see other players that have either committed or are on the the team now welcome them to the team. It’s a great thing to see in a program.
JT: Being from Cincinnati, how cool is it to see the rise of the program?
BB: It’s awesome to see the program continue to get better every year. Growing up, I was a big fan of Mardy Gilyard. Me thinking about all of the positive memories that have came from UC sports puts a smile on my face.
JT: Which coaches have you developed a great relationship with?
BB: I’ve developed a good relationship with Coach Fickell and Coach Freeman. I played against Coach Fickell’s son Landon which was very exciting. Those two coaches are the ones that I have the best relationship with.
JT: How would you describe your game?
BB: I would describe my game as relentless. Win, lose or draw I’m going to be giving my all every play. My specialty is getting to the quarterback, but I think I’m under appreciated when it comes to stopping the run.
JT: Do you have a date when you want to commit?
BB: As of right now I do not have a date for my commitment. I’ve always felt that when I decide where I want to go to school I’ll put it out there. I don’t really like wasting coaches time just for entertainment or whatever the case may be. With that being said, I don’t want to make an uninformed decision.
JT: What are you looking for in the program you pick?
BB: The biggest thing that I look for in a school is the atmosphere. Ultimately, I’m not just saying “This is where I want to play football.” I’m saying “This is where I want to spend the next 4+ years of my life.” If I can’t say that, no matter how good the football team is, I won’t be interested.
