Late April center Chris Vogt put his name in the NBA Draft possibly forgoing his senior season with the Bearcats. Thursday evening Vogt announced he was coming back to Cincinnati for his senior season, which is huge news for John Brannen and the crew. Because of Covid-19 players that entered the draft have a longer window to stay in, but also the process isn’t as smooth because of the pandemic.

Vogt averaged 11.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks on 64.8% from the field last season. The big mans skill around the rim will be a welcomed sight back especially with all of the fire power on deck for the 2020-21 season. With Vogt coming back in the fold, Cincinnati just has to wait the decision of Keith Williams who currently still have his name in the draft.
Note: The early withdrawal deadline is August 3rd.
