James Hudson, offensive tackle
Hudson played like a grown man, it wasn’t more evident then the Doaks 1 yard touchdown run on fourth down that he pancaked a SMU defender and flexed resulting in a penalty. Also looking at a few replays during other plays when Hudson could be seen tossing defenders like rag dolls.
Gerrid Doaks, running back
Doaks is about to get the name “Mr. Consistent” from me, the young man had 20 carries for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He also had one catch for 5 yards. He did have one fumble, but it was a missed targeting call that caused it. “Mr. Consistent” is rolling and taking advantage of his touches.
