Tune does a good job of spreading the ball around, Houston has three different receivers who currently have more than 200 yards receiving, but senior Marquez Stevenson is the leader with (16 receptions) 278 yards and three touchdowns. First in receptions is senior Keith Corbin who leads the team with 17, he also has 213 yards on the season. Junior Tre’Von Bradley is third on the team in receptions and yards with 15 and 203 on the season. The UC secondary will again be facing a team that likes to throw the ball 30-40 times a game, but they have just been so lights out in those situations this season that I can’t see Tune being as successful as he would need to be to give Houston a true chance in this game.
Wide receiver Tre'Von Bradley is out for this week's game against Cincinnati, per coach Dana Holgorsen

The Houston defense is going to have their hands full with Ridder and the UC offense which seems to have found its groove at the perfect time. Senior defensive end Payton Turner will be the one trying to disrupt that offensive flow. Turner leads the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and less the team with four sacks. If he is unable to generate any consistent pressure then it is going to put a strain on a Houston secondary that has not been able to find its footing all season.
JUST IN: Houston defensive end Payton Turner will miss Saturday’s game at sixth-ranked Cincinnati due to injury, coach Dana Holgorsen said on his weekly radio show Thursday night. Another big blow for the Cougars, who are already without top receiver Marquez Stevenson. pic.twitter.com/nfZdvpoYcV

Linebacker Donavan Mutin will also miss a second consecutive game.

The spread for this game currently sits at 13.5 in favor of the Bearcats, with the over/under points at 55. I would be comfortable with the Bearcats and the over if I was a betting man. The “Blackcats” defense has just proven week in and week out how special they are, that they are capable of shutting down any offense they face and while they have been dominant, the offense has begun to click as well. The last two weeks proved when they get rolling they are a team that can really put it on you, and I would expect more of the same especially at Nippert where they have one of the longest current home winning streaks going. Bearcats keep it rolling 42-14. Go Cats!
