Cincinnati Bearcats punter James Smith has declared for the NFL Draft. Smith was a Ray Guy finalist in 2018, multiple time All-AAC performer.

Smith is arguably one of the best punters Cincinnati has had in program history. This season he had an average of 43.8 yards a punt, 21 fair caught, 18 inside the 20 yard line and eight that traveled 50 yards or more.
