Desmond Ridder announced he was staying and a few minutes later defensive end Myjai Sanders announced he is going to stay for his senior season as well. Sanders was a first team All-AAC player this season. Like Ridder reports were saying he was a 2nd to 4th round pick if he entered the NFL Draft this year.

Sanders had 31 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and a team high seven sacks.
