Redshirt sophomore center Zach Hummel has entered the transfer portal, it was reported by The Athletics’ Justin Williams. Hummel is the second lineman to enter the portal today as a little earlier in the day Jakari Robinson did the same. Hummel has played in three games during his Cincinnati career he came in as a three star defensive lineman, but was switched to the offensive side for the ball during his redshirt season. Hummel should have at least three season for the next program he suits ups for. With Jake Renfro only being a sophomore this move makes sense. Now we will see if Hummel stays on the offensive side of the ball or heads back to the defensive side?
In addition to center Jakari Robinson, fellow backup center Zach Hummel has entered the transfer portal as well, @TheAthletic has learned.

Hummel, a sophomore, moved over from defensive line ahead of last season.
Jake Renfro beat both out for the starting center job in 2020. https://t.co/Fcid54ifA8
TFON wishes Zach nothing but the best!
