The University of Cincinnati men’s basketball program has announced its 13-game non-conference slate, the official start of the Wes Miller era.
The Bearcats open Tuesday, Nov. 9 against Evansville, followed by a Saturday bout with Georgia. It marks the third all-time meeting with the Bulldogs and a rematch from last season in Athens. The following Tuesday and Thursday feature home games against Alabama A&M and Presbyterian, respectively.
Cincinnati then flies the friendly skies for the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center. The Bearcats, who have appeared in nine of the past 10 NCAA Tournaments, square up Monday, Nov. 22 against Illinois (6:30 p.m. on ESPNEWS), which finished in the top-10 last season. Tuesday’s game will be against either Arkansas, another top-10 squad, or Kansas State, which has nine NCAA appearances since 2008.
Hall of Fame Classic tickets are on sale for $90 (digitally) through the Cincinnati ticket office, and it includes admission to every game.
Thanksgiving Week continues with a Saturday home game against Monmouth, plus a Wednesday, Dec. 1 road tilt at Miami (Ohio), the 148th meeting between the teams and first since 2011.
The non-conference slate wraps with three-straight home games from Dec. 14-21 against Florida A&M, Texas Southern and Tennessee Tech, respectively. AAC play will be announced at a later date, with the championships being held March 7-10 in Fort Worth.
