Sophomore linebacker Deshawn Pace earned American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Indiana over the weekend. Pace had a game high 10 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and an interception. The interception sealed the game for the Bearcats after Desmond Ridder scored from 7 yards out. The #HometownHero played amazing on the road and was rewarded by the conference.
