Today Bearcats freshman setter Emme Madden was named AAC Offensive Player of the Week, after a big weekend to help lead the Bearcats to victories over ECU and Temple.
Madden has been a key part of the Bearcats offense, and a key reason to the Bearcats early success as the freshman setter had established connections with all of her hitters early, and that has been a pivotal key for the Bearcats early success as they now have won 9 of their last 10 matches including 4 in a row after this weekends sweep at Fifth Third Arena.
Madden, a Cincinnati native is now 6th in assists within the American Athletic Conference as she averages 8.98 assists per set.
The Bearcats have had consecutive weeks with players named AAC Offensive Player of the Week, as freshman middle Abby Walker was selected last week. The Bearcats have been getting a lot of recognition for what coach Alvey and staff are building here in Clifton.
The Bearcats will be back in action this Friday when they take on Tulsa, as they look to make it 5 wins straight. A huge congratulations to Emme Madden on earning AAC Offensive Player of the Week!
