March 5th will be the first practice (Spring ball) for Cincinnati since they shocked the world and make the College Football Playoff. March 5th will look different at the quarterback position as four year starter and top NFL prospect Desmond Ridder will not be in shotgun or behind center. Ridder holds damn near every record for the program, most wins as a starter, most total yards and touchdowns, I could be leaving something out, but that’s what Luke Fickell calls “The Desmond Ridder effect”.
