Today, former Ohio Mr. Football entered the transfer portal, Corey Kiner was LSU’s second leading rusher as a true freshman. He graduated from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati and per 247 Sports Composite rankings was the 160th player in the nation, 10th best running back and the 7th best player in Ohio. Kiner rushed for 324 yards on 79 carries and two touchdowns on a 4.1 yards per carry average.
The former four star running back stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 213 pounds. LSU recently let go of head coach Ed Oregeron, Brian Kelly left Notre Dame for LSU and it must’ve not been the ideal fit for the running back. The hometown hero has returned and has three years of eligibility left. He will join a veteran backfield with Charles McClelland, Ethan Wright, Ryan Montgomery, Miles Montgomery and Stephan Byrd.
