Yesterday, Bearcats head coach Michelle Clark-Heard and staff received some big news as they received a commitment from Ryle guard/forward Abby Holtman. Holtman is a member of the 2023 class where she attends Ryle High School right across the river in Kentucky.
Holtman is coming off a season where she averaged 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds , 2.2 steals, 2.0 assists per game for Ryle. Holtman is entering her 4th season of high school ball as she played on Ryle’s Varsity team as an 8th grader, which shows the potential and how dynamic of a player Holtman is. Holtman, a 6-foot-tall guard/forward, can score on all three levels, as she is coming off a season shooting 42% from the field.
Holtman becomes the first member of the Bearcats 2023 recruiting class as Michelle Clark-Heard and company get their first member from right down the road from campus.
