The American Athletic Conference announced the women’s basketball pairings for the 2022-23 season on Thursday.
The matrix features a 16-game league schedule where each team will play six conference opponents twice in a home-and-away series and the remaining four opponents once – two at home and two on the road.
Cincinnati will tip off against UCF, East Carolina, Memphis, Temple, Tulane and Wichita State at Fifth Third Arena and on the road. The Bearcats will host Houston and South Florida and travel to SMU and Tulsa for a single contest.
The complete conference schedule with game dates, times as well as broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
Entering the fifth season under head coach Michelle Clark-Heard, the Bearcats return 10 letterwinners, including AAC All-Freshman honoree Braylyn Milton and three of the top five scorers. This spring the program welcomed three new assistant coaches and three newcomers in freshman A’riel Jackson and transfers Mya Jackson and Dais’Ja Trotter.
