Week 10 vs Navy, WIN
This is a game that everyone considers a “Trap Game”. Navy always runs the weird triple option offense that seems to give the Bearcats problems every year. The Bearcats were given a scare last year when they won against Navy 27-20. The Bearcats will have some trouble with the triple option again this year, but with the game in Cincinnati and Navy not having much on defense or offense the Bearcats easily come away with this one.
Week 11 vs ECU, WIN
This is not as easy as a game that it has been the last couple of years for the Bearcats. The Pirates have a lot of their starters back and could be a sneaky good team. The Bearcats play well at home and the Bearcats defense will force some pressure to help the Bearcats sneak by a sneaky good ECU team.
Week 12 @ Temple, WIN
This should be another easy game for the Bearcats. Temple has struggled the last couple of years in the American and even though they have a solid defense they have no offense. The Bearcats will dominate on the defensive side of things in this game and he Bearcats will cruise to a blowout win.
Week 13 vs Tulane, WIN
This will be a good game to end the season for the Bearcats. The Green Wave has a very tough offense that might give the Bearcat’s defense some fits. The Green wave has a very talented running back in Tyjae Spears, but their defense is very weak. The Bearcats should be able to throw the ball all over the field against a weak secondary. The Bearcats take care of business on Senior Night and extend their 3-game winning streak against the Green Wave.
American Championship Game, LOSS
The Bearcats finish the season 11-1 and end up playing in the American Championship game. I believe this will be Houston again and I think the Cougars will be a tough challenge for the Bearcats. The defense plays a tough game, but Cincinnati doesn’t put up enough points and they fall to Houston in a very tough AAC Championship rematch. This could go either way, but I think the team will just fall against Houston who is looking for revenge.
In the end, the Bearcats have a very successful season before heading to the BIG 12. There are a lot of games that I am in the middle on. There are going to be a lot of nail biters and there will be a lot of surprises this year. A brand new team that will show the College Football world they are here to stay and they aren’t going anywhere. Sit back folks and enjoy the ride because Bearcat football is back starting Saturday!
