Ty Wise, defensive end
Miami secured Indiana edge rusher Ty Wise from the portal, and with Wise in the lineup, the unit is responding very well to begin the season. The Unit ranks 16 in FBS with three sacks per game. The Bearcats will have to control Wise and company otherwise Ben Bryant will have some trouble on Saturday.
Ryan McWood, linebacker
Ryan McWood suffered a season-ending injury early in 2021, but has bounced back to begin the year off well so far. McWood is Miami’s leading tackler on the year with 18 and his presence alone will give Cincinnati’s run game a lot of problems on Saturday.
