Today, Bearcats linebacker Ivan Pace, Jr. has been named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The senior was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 (Miami of Ohio) now he’s won the AAC’s award.
Pace had 120 tackles (led the AAC), 19.5 tackles for loss (led the AAC), two forced fumbles, four pass breakups and seven quarterback hurries.
