Justin Williams of The Athletic reported it first followed by Sport Illustrated’s Pat Forde, the Cincinnati Bearcats will play the Louisville Cardinals in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl on December 17th at 11 am. This will be the return of the Keg of Nails, it will be the first time these two rivals have played since 2013, after playing 53 times in the past. The Fenway Bowl is in Boston, Massachusetts at legendary Fenway Park.
Cincinnati still is searching for a new head coach, but they finished the season 9-3 overall and Louisville finished the season 7-5 overall.
In 15 days the Bearcats will get a chance to finish with 10 wins on the season, beat an ACC opponent and rival.
