The Bearcats Day One Ready Campaign came together a little over a year ago, in which the Bearcats launched the fundraiser as they began to make the transition to the Big 12. The Bearcats Day One Ready Campaign has a goal of 100 million dollars, that will go towards new facilities, student athlete wellness and championship readiness. The Bearcats announced after this partnership with TQL the Bearcats currently have raise just north of 80 million dollars for the Day One Ready Campaign.
“Our Day One Ready Campaign is a 100 million Dollar Campaign, that has now reached just north of 80 million dollars in commitments,” said athletic director John Cunningham. “At the center of that campaign is a signature facility, a best in-class practice facility and sports performance center. That facility will break ground this winter. This type of corporate support and buy-in from TQL and others make that happen.”
The University of Cincinnati added a lot of cool amenities to the fan experience aspect of things before the 2022 season, that included field level suites for home games right behind the end zone. in addition to the TQL logos being placed on the 25 yard lines adjacent to the Big 12 Logo, the new field level suites will be branded with TQL. Bearcats athletic director John Cunningham also said there will be additional assets around the stadium as well.
It is still unsure of the details regarding the partnership with the University of Cincinnati, but Cunningham said, “It’s significant, and it moved the needle for us in a major way.” Cunningham also said TQL will have a part on the new donor wall that will be displayed in the new practice facility when it is built. Cunningham also said the performance center next to the new indoor facility will feature a nutrition center and calls it a game changer to have that aspect after visiting other Big 12 facilities.
However, this is a massive partnership for the Bearcats as they make the transition to the Big 12 later this year, it seems like the Bearcats are close to achieving their 100-million-dollar goal for the Day One Ready Campaign before the start of the 23 season. Partnering with a massive company like TQL, that is based out of the city of Cincinnati, is massive for the University of Cincinnati, in hopes to land other local partnerships before the 2023 season.
