This Saturday the Bearcats wrap up the first Spring season under head coach Scott Satterfield after nearly one month of spring practices. Scott Satterfield enters his first season at the helm of the Bearcats after spending the last four seasons at Louisville University, where he looks to lead the Bearcats into the Big 12. The Spring game will kick off at 12 pm this Saturday at Nippert Stadium, and is free to all fans that want to come out and support the Bearcats. Following the Spring game, fans in attendance will be able to participate in the in a postgame fan fest that will allow them to take pictures and get some autographs from their favorite Bearcats. Now, let’s break down some things to keep an eye on heading into the Spring game on Saturday.
“It’s going to look like football, we are going to put the ball down and move it, 1st and 10, then towards the end of the game we will work it in the red zone, inside the 30, 18, 9-yard lines to try and create some scenarios that way,” said Satterfield. “We will see how many plays we end up running, but I anticipate running over 100-125 plays. It will be the most teamwork we have done all Spring ball, the coaches will be off to the side, we are going to let the guys go out there and play,” said Bearcats head coach Scott Satterfield on what to expect ahead of Saturday’s Spring game.
