4 takeaways from the Bearcats first Satterfield led Spring Game

True freshman turning some heads after Spring ball

True freshman wide receiver Barry Jackson has turned a lot of people’s heads after a huge Spring camp. Jackson, an early enrollee saw a lot of reps this Spring at wide receiver after seeing Keyshawn Helton out with an injury, and a thin receiving core, has embraced every opportunity he has had this Spring. Jackson, hauled in the most receptions from any receiver in today’s Spring game, including a 34-yard touchdown from yet another early enrollee Brady Drogosh this afternoon. “Barry Jackson to me, is probably the most improved player this spring from day 1-15. Particularly for a guy who just got here in Jan as a true freshman,” said Scott Satterfield. “He is supposed to be getting ready for his prom right now, but instead he’s catching TD’s in a spring game. He is certainly going to be a guy we will be able to use this fall, that maybe we didn’t know if we would use or not early in the spring. Barry is going to make us play him, which is what you want.”
