What they lost from the players not returning:
David DeJulius, was their second leading scorer and leader in assists. He didn’t have any eligibility left, but his leadership and stability will be missed. Landers Nolley II, had a shot to come back, but chose a shot at the NBA. The leading scorer will be missed on both ends of the court as he showed a knack for making shots and helping on the glass. Jeremiah Davenport, was a guy who could affect the game on the offensive side of the ball when hot, but when he was off, a lot of teams picked on him on the defensive end. He is one of the better shooting forwards in college hoops, but not a great shot creator. Mika Adams-Woods was mister consistency early in the season, but later in the season he got into a little slump. Adams-Woods not coming back leaves the backcourt with a lot of inexperience at point guard. Jarrett Hensley transferred out, but he spent most of the AAC schedule out of the rotation so his lost won’t be as big as the others spoken about in this piece. Ezikpe and Phinisee both were out of eligibility and didn’t log major minutes during their time in Cincinnati.
