According to Joe Tipton of ON3, high four-star prospect Malachi Moreno is set to visit the University of Cincinnati next weekend. The same weekend the Bearcats host Miami of Ohio for the battle of the victory bell.
Moreno, currently a sophomore at Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, Kentucky is listed as the 57th ranked player in the class of 2025, while the 7th ranked center, and number one ranked player in the state of Kentucky. Moreno, a 6’11” center had a huge summer on the Adidas 3SSB basketball circuit and is one of the top prospects in the class of 2025 for many reasons.
Wes Miller and the Bearcats hosted top 2025 prospect Jasper Johnson over the weekend along with 2024 priority target Labaron Philon. 2026 prospect Gabe Weis was also on campus for an unofficial visit over the weekend where he picked up an offer from Wes Miller and staff.
Wes Miller and staff continue to hit the ground running in terms of recruiting as you can see the Bearcats are targeting some highly touted prospects after landing two Top 100 recruits in their 2023 recruiting class between Rayvon Griffith and Jizzle James. However, for Miller and staff, they continue to welcome some of the nation’s top talents to campus for visits ahead of the 2023 season.
