Over the weekend 2025 five star prospect Malachi Moreno took in the Bearcats vs Miami football game for their annual Nipp at Night matchup. Moreno, a five-star prospect in the 2025 class that attends Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, Kentucky. Moreno, is currently listed as the 38th ranked player in the 2025 class, 5th ranked center, and the number one player in the state of Kentucky in the class of 2025.
Moreno, a 7’1″ forward/center averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game as a sophomore. Moreno has garnered national attention currently holds offers from Iowa, Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Creighton, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Tennessee, USC and many more.
Moreno not only possesses great size, but he’s an all-around player, who plays with such high energy and lives around the rim. A great long physical defender who loves to altar shots, plays with such a high motor. Moreno is a guy that will be turning a lot more heads as he wraps up his high school career as he has been tearing up the Adidas 3SSB AAU circuit this offseason.
