Chamon Mateyer, tight end
Mateyer, led the Bearcats in yards (50) and was a huge mismatch for the Sooners this afternoon. Mateyer had a huge 35-yard gain down the right sideline early in the second quarter, where he was able to sneak free and really show his speed and athleticism. Mateyer, a 6’6″, 260-pound tight end was refusing to go down for multiple Sooner defenders. This is the game that Metayer needed to boost that confidence as he looks to step into that tight end one position.
