The Bearcats defense stood tall this afternoon despite their 32-29 loss to Baylor, which happened to be their fifth straight. The Bearcats defense had playmakers all over the board as the energy the defense was playing with this afternoon was simply contagious and they brought it right from the jump.

Jonathan Thompson, linebacker
Thompson has seen his role increase over the last few weeks at the linebacker position and had a great afternoon today. Thompson, rotating in and out with Dorian Jones, finished with a career high eight tackles, and 0.5 tackles for loss.
