According to reports, Cincinnati linebacker Dorian Jones has entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
The former three-star linebacker spent the past four seasons alongside Scott Satterfield during his stops at Louisville and Cincinnati. Jones had a solid senior campaign where he finished with 56 tackles, a sack, and interception in his lone season as a Bearcat. Jones, was a key piece for the Bearcats last season at that linebacker position, which was arguable one of the best defensive position groups alongside the defensive line last season.
However, one year later, Jones, now enters the transfer portal following the conclusion of spring camp. Cincinnati brought in a huge target in Jared Bartlett at that linebacker position to pair alongside Jones, Jack Dingle and Johnathan Thompson.
It is worth noting that Dorian Jones was one of the few players that did not play in the spring game over the weekend. Now, it wouldn’t be shocking Scott Satterfield and staff take another look at the linebacker position in this current cycle of the transfer portal ahead of fall camp.
