The architect of “Showtime” passed February 18th, 2013. Dr. Buss owned the Lakers since 79. Buss changed the way we watched basketball which in turn helped the Lakers and the NBA grow as a brand. You know how special Dr. Buss was just from the reaction of all of the players both current and former along with just the other people associated with the league.
The Lakers and the NBA have truly lost one its greatest pioneers Monday. Dr. Buss your imprint on basketball is permanent the Lakers organization will never be the same.
