Danica Patrick made history winning the Daytona 500 pole. Patrick is the first woman to accomplish this feat. This is a great notch under her belt. This is a ground breaking event in NASCAR hopefully she can ride this momentum into a top 10 Daytona finish.
As a person that doesn’t watch NASCAR like I do other sports this situation has brought a lot of eyes to an already popular sport. The great thing about this achievement is it will affect a lot woman around the world. There is probably a young girl somewhere right now saying they can do the same thing, which is amazing in itself.
Congrats, to Danica is she finally getting out of the godaddy commercial shadows? Only time will tell if not we will always have the commercials.
