Stephen Curry breaks Ray Allen’s single season 3-point record

Golden State point guard Stephen Curry has had a great season. Curry has broken some ankles on our Ankle Insurance series, got tossed around by Roy Hibbert and been snubbed by the All-Star committee all in the 2012-13 NBA season.

Wednesday night Curry broke Ray Allen’s 2005-06 season 3 point record of 269 after hitting his 270 3 pointer of the season. Curry is averaging 23 ppg, 6.9 apg and 4.1 rpg all while shooting 45% from the 3 point line.

Congrats to Curry for breaking the record. He is one of the best shooters in the league.(If not the best?)

The game is still going on as I’m writing this article so he could push the record to a higher limit by the games end.

If you didn’t see how he claimed the record check out the link.
