49ers/Seahawks III

At the beginning of the season most people had the Seahawks and 49ers as favorites to make the Super Bowl this season. With the NFC Championship game coming up the ticket to NY will be between those two teams.

These two teams despise either other, hell the fans don’t like each other either. The teams have already met twice this season. The teams split their previous meetings, but the Seahawks won in a blown at home week 2 and the 49ers won at home week 14.

Game 3 will be in Seattle, which puts the 49ers slightly against the wall. The 12th man is no joke, no person can knock that, but one thing the Arizona Cardinals gave everyone in the league on week 16 is hope. They beat the Seahawks at home getting them their first defeat in 2 years in CenturyLink. They still have a 15-1 record on that field since Russell Wilson has started.

Seattle is pretty healthy there is a cloud over receiver Percy Harvin’s health with a recent concussion, but that’s an every week thing because they have played the whole season without him. They also are without starting CB Brandon Browner because of a PED violation. Even without Browner they still have the best secondary in football, but with Browner out it gives the 9ers some players to target in multiple receiver sets. Wilson has struggled a little bit the last 4 to 5 weeks, but he still has beastmode in the back field and he’s always a threat.

The 9ers Colin Kaepernick has been playing 300% better compared to his early season output. The 9ers will have a their weapons at disposal for the 2nd time against the Hawks. The first meeting Davis got hurt and Crabtree was still on the PUP list. The defense is playing better also. The 9ers have a shot at beating the Hawks on the road if they play smart ball, no silly penalties or dumb turnovers.

These two teams are built to play each other it’s no secret. I expect this game to be a slugfest, which is what everyone is expecting. Even if you are not fans of either team you should be excited to watch this game.
