Warriors trade will help ease the loss of Jarrett Jack

Before y’all attack me hear me out real quick. Jarrett Jack was the Warriors 6th man last year and used to finish games . Jack allowed Curry to play off the ball in crunch time, he could create for others and himself. He signed with the Cavs in the offseason and the Warriors haven’t been able to replace him.

BrooksCrawfordUntil today, the Warriors made a team deal between the Heat and Celtics to acquire G Jordan Crawford and G MarShon Brooks.

Let’s break down the trade:

Warriors get:

G Jordan Crawford

G MarShon Brooks

Heat get:

G Toney Douglas

Celtics get:

F/C Joel Anthony

2 draft picks (one will be 2nd rounder in 2016 from Miami and the other has a shot to be a 1st rounder from the 76ers)

The Warriors win in this deal because their bench gets an immediate upgrade with Crawford and Brooks. Crawford proved this year in Boston he could run point guard and we all know he can create for himself. He may not be as good of a passer as Jack, but he can score just as good or better. Jack was a leader on the team, Crawford probably won’t replace that aspect of his void, but on the court he will make it easier to rest the starting backcourt and may be able to help free Curry in the 4th quarter.

Crawford in the Bay area may be just want the Warriors need to make a deep run in the playoffs.
